If you're anything like me, the thought of listening to someone with no visual cues seems daunting. As a visual learner, with a short attention span, podcasts seem like the last thing I would enjoy/benefit from. However, Jay Shetty has completely converted me into a podcast-fan.

His podcast entitled "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" is a self-help podcast which aims to make 'wisdom go viral'. Through conversations with insightful people, Shetty enlightens listeners on topics such as relationships, productivity, mindfulness and happiness, just to name a few.
One of the best things about this podcast is the variety of both content and the different length episodes available. There really is something there for everyone, whether you are looking for an hour-long episode on habits or a quick 30-minute lesson on relationships.
Out of the 10 or so episodes I have listened to, Shetty's episode explaining the 3 attachment styles and how each style affects relationships was extremely enlightening. Knowledge really is power when it comes to any relationship - whether it be with a parent, a partner or a friend. The information I learned from this 30-minute podcast has helped me create healthier and stronger relationships through the power of understanding my own attachment style.
The one downfall to this podcast is the advertisements. Although they are neatly disguised, they do interrupt the flow of conversation and make it difficult to follow the narrative at times. However, the content of this podcast is so impactful that it almost outshines the interruptive advertisements.
Overall I really enjoyed this podcast and will return to it in the future. If you are looking for a well-rounded self-help podcast or have some specific self-help queries, On Purpose with Jay Shetty will not disappoint.
