My name is Ríona Gillespie, and I am a third-year university student from Ireland. I'm am studying politics and digital communication at the University of Limerick. However, I am currently situated in The Hague as I am undertaking a one-year academic exchange in Leiden University.

 

I have a passion for writing and travel, and so my dream to one day become a journalist will come as no surprise. This blog was created as a space for me to both write freely and to share my experiences as a young adult growing up in an ever-changing Ireland. The name of this blog, Remelia, is a mix of both my first name, Ríona and my middle name, Emelia. As if they weren't confusing enough on their own!
